Warrior Days February 10th-11th Weekend on the WB Campus

The campus opened its doors to more than 100 potential students as WB hosted Warrior Days, Feb. 10-11. As the second of three introduction weekends hosted by the Admissions Office, interested juniors and seniors in high school were able to visit and get a feel for college life at Western Baptist.

"Our primary goal for hosting potential students is to get them on campus to experience what is special about our college," said Shirley Yuranek, Warrior Days coordinator. "They can tour the campus, attend classes, eat with students, and ask questions of anyone here. Primarily we want them to experience the warm Christian love and hospitality we offer. We hope they'll see how enrolling and studying here will be a life changing event for them personally."

With the increased popularity of the visits, the College has added an extra Warrior Days weekend from March 10-11, Shirley said. That weekend will be intended more for high school sophomores and juniors. Those wanting to sign up for March can do so on line at the Warrior Days online registration page.
