The Schedule and Our Current Progress

Phase I: Research and Development

We plan to be involved in this process for approximately six months, culminating in the choice of the new name and identity plan. This phase is now complete and work will shift into Phase II.  On October 15th, the Board of Trustees selected a new name and introduced it to the public this week. The chosen name is Corban College, and we are excited about the months and years ahead as we continue to educate Christian students under this new identity. Use of the name however, will not begin until May 7, 2005, after the official transition.

Phase II: Market Testing and Refinement
We plan to be involved in this process for three months. It will involve the design and testing of the of the logo for the new name and also the design concepts of the colateral materials and branding message. It will be a time used for any adjustments that need to be made to the final packaging of the brand. Goal: February, 2005

Phase III: Creative Application Across all Marketing Materials and Channels

We plan to produce the actual marketing materials and later launch the new visual identity program to all lines of communication. The new identity will be used at this time, but the old name will be referenced/included for one year in order to make a smooth transition in the marketplace. Launch Date: May, 2005.

Phase IV: Brand Management and Maintenance

The maintenance program allows us a period of time to ensure that the new identity tools will be properly maintained in the first several months of use.
