Projects Continue as Changes Improve Campus Landscape

Many changes are taking place on the landscape of the campus, and the latest is two parking lots which have been paved on campus. Construction in and around the Psalm Center continues as final details mark the completion of that project.

The “loop” lot, located just above the College’s Sportsplex received a new surface and has also been modified to accommodate 45 vehicles. Striping, wheel curbs, and landscaping are also being installed.

The Psalm Center parking lot has also been paved and cleared of construction equipment which reopens 31 parking spaces on campus. These spaces have not been available since last spring when construction on the College’s newest building closed the lot.

There will be a formal dedication of the Psalm Center for faculty, staff and students on April 11, during the first chapel service to be held inside the newly constructed facility. Plans are ongoing for that occasion and more details will be released soon.

Additionally, four new stone gateposts will soon be located at the main entrances to Western Way and Warrior Drive. The five foot monuments will each have the Corban College seal etched in an 18 x 18" granite slab and surrounded by slate stone. Each gatepost is topped with a four sided, asphalt shingle roof. Employee Todd Mitchell from Campus Care is doing all of the construction and completion is slated for April 25.
