WB Enrollment Sets Record

Following a large graduating class in May, a record 754 students are now enrolled for the 2004-05 school-year. The college graduated 185 students last May in one of the largest senior classes in recent years, causing the undergraduate total to dip, but a new graduate program has helped increase overall enrollment figures.

A record 737 students were enrolled in classes at WB in 2003-04, full time and part time.  With 612 full and part time students registered this fall, 123 others enrolled in the Adult Studies degree completion program. The new graduate program registered 19 students, helping to achieve the new record enrollment.

“Our new graduate studies program in Education is in session and has been very popular,” says Dr. Bryce Bernard, Vice President for Academics. “Our degree completion program has been bolstered by an increase of 13 on-line students. It's exciting to have graduate level students on campus and to interact with online students from all over the country. Our expanded programs have allowed us to reach a newer group of students with the mission of the College.”
