Following two weeks of instruction from skilled theatre artisans, more than 80 youngsters prepared, wrote and presented several short plays at the culmination of WB's annual 2004 Theatre Camp, July 19-31. The Showcase Recital presented on the final night was the culmination of learning and preparation by the campers.

Elementary students wrote and performed an original play while middle-schoolers were divided into groups to produce several smaller productions.  The high school group performed excerpts from well known plays such as works from Shakespeare.

"Every year I'm amazed at how much these students learn and improve then are able to showcase their talent on stage the final night," said Tamara McGinnis, the camp's director. "All of the plays depicted an aspect of friendship which coincided with our "Circle of Friends" camp theme this year. These young people were amazing and a joy for our staff to teach."
