ASB Helps Families Have a Merrier Christmas

As a way to give back to the local community, the leadership of the Associated Students Body (ASB) at Western Baptist voted this week to donate $400 to meet the Christmas gift and food needs of two needy families.

The ASB has agreed to donate $200 to purchase practical gifts (clothes, household goods, etc.) for adults and teens which will then be donated to Salem’s Union Gospel Mission.

“We’ll also be donating $200 to buy Christmas holiday groceries for these families,” said Ben Morris, ASB President.

Union Gospel Mission will be distributing the donated gifts and food just before Christmas to the families.
