Corban students to celebrate Tuition Freedom Day, March 19

Friday, March 7, 2014

Nearly every student at Corban benefits from the generosity of donors who provide funds for scholarships and more.

March 19 students will have an opportunity to say “Thank you!” by writing personalized notes on cards that will be sent to hundreds of supporters. Stations will be set up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the library, Common Grounds and the Oakland Room in the dining hall.

“It is important for students to be aware of the role donors play in their education,” said event organizer Alyssa Teterud. “We hope they will make a connection to the importance of these gifts and how they help lower tuition costs, and maybe pay it forward someday.”
