Corban women fall in final tournament matchup

Corban’s Warrior women reached the top of the Cascade Collegiate Conference basketball tournament, but fell short during the final matchup.
The Warriors battled the CCC’s second ranked College of Idaho for the conference tournament title on Monday and lost 80-68 at the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center. Corban moves onto the 2012 State Farm NAIA Division II National Tournament with an overall record of 23-7. Meanwhile, No. 20-ranked C of I improves to 22-8 and will also represent the CCC at this year's national tournament in Sioux City, Iowa in March.
