Corban hosts Academic All-Stars awards ceremony

The mid-Willamette Valley is filled with students who have gone above and beyond in their academic and personal lives.
Thirty-six high school seniors were honored at the 2012 Academic All-Stars awards ceremony hosted by Corban University on Feb. 20. A committee and review board, with members from Corban, the Statesman Journal, Willamette University, Chemeketa Community College and Western Oregon University, selected the students.
All four participating universities have guaranteed scholarships to award winners who apply to the schools and meet eligibility requirements.
