The music department invites you to the Spring Choir Concert on Friday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Psalm Performing Arts Center.
As the final choral performance of the year, the concert features the Concert Choir, the Corban Men, the Corban Women, and the Chamber Choir. The selections represent music from the Renaissance to the present, including songs by American composer William Billings, English composers Thomas Tallis and William Byrd, contemporary works “The Awakening” by Joseph Martin and “Elijah Rock” by Moses Hogan, and arrangements from the Glad Acapella Project. Director Matt Strauser will invite the audience to sing along on the praise songs “Hear Oh Lord and Answer,” “In Christ Alone,” and other titles. Please enjoy an evening of inspiration, ministry, and celebration.
On-campus parking and concert admission are free. For more information, please contact the music department at 503-375-7019 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
