Music Camp: Summer 2008
June 23 - June 27, 2008
Daily 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Corban College’s Music Camp 2008 is a one-week day camp for students who have completed grades 5-12 before June 23, 2008. Campers will gain musical knowledge and experience that will expand their musical horizons!
Participants will have a wide variety of opportunities to develop new skills, perform with camp choirs, orchestras, and bands, explore musical applications, increase ability levels and just plain have some fun with music and fellow musicians. Music Camp features several levels of bands, orchestras, choirs, and music classes, as well as a daily worship time, daily performance time, and private lessons.
There is also a special end-of-the-week concert in the Psalm Performing Arts Center on campus, Friday, June 27, at 4 p.m. Each student will choose an ensemble class, musicianship class, and an elective class. All course offerings are provided by skilled, professional musicians who have a heart for kids, the Lord, and music.
Corban College Music Camp is in its eighth season of providing students excellent musical instruction and activities. Corban’s campus provides a supportive and safe environment for students to enjoy making music together and to build friendships with fellow campers and instructors. Students are assisted on the campus by a caring adult volunteer staff in addition to a highly qualified faculty.
