PAM237 EGYPTIAN STONE INSCRIPTION This is probably a piece of a temple wall. Date and history are unknown. Egyptian hieroglyphic was "already in existence at the end of the fourth millennium B.C.... The latest hieroglyphic inscriptions belong to the sixth century A.D." (Diringer, The Alphabet, pp.58,63).
