Reading Endorsement
This program is for Oregon licensed educators. Candidates can either complete the 14-credit endorsement as a stand-alone program or as a track in the Master of Science in Education degree. The endorsement sequence comprises 10 core credits in reading theory and practice, a 2-credit course in either elementary or secondary literacy methods, and a 2-credit practicum.

English for Speakers of Other Languages/ Bilingual Endorsement (ESOL)
Corban is excited about the opportunity to prepare educators to work with ESL learners. With the continued change in the Oregon student population, we are pleased to offer a program that supports educations professionals as they teach students with diverse linguistic backgrounds. This endorsement program is designed for Oregon licensed educators. Candidates can either complete the 13-credit endorsement as a stand-alone program or as a track in the Master of Science in Education program.
The endorsement sequence comprises 4 core courses in ESOL/Bilingual theory and practice, and a 2-credit practicum. A candidate for the Bilingual endorsement must also furnish evidence of proficiency in the designated foreign language. This may be with a passing score on the ACTFL Proficiency Test, or by evidence of prior experience.
