Corban Mental Health Clinic
The Corban Mental Health Clinic is an educational counseling clinic of the Graduate Counseling program of Corban University in partnership with Salem Free Clinics. The clinic was established in 2011. The collaboration between Corban University and Salem Free Clinics is a unique opportunity to reach out and serve the mental health needs of the Salem community and provide excellent training for Corban University counseling students.
The clinic gives the opportunity for Corban counseling interns to gain a wide range of experience including assessment, treatment planning and diagnosis. The Corban Mental Health Clinic serves a diverse population including individuals, couples, and groups. Counseling interns receive on-site supervision by Corban faculty members who are licensed counselors.
Interviews are conducted each Spring by the clinic director to choose the interns who will begin their one-year internship in the Fall.
