Position Description:

Position Begins: July 1, 2008

Salary and Rank: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Full-time, regular faculty position.

Responsibilities: Primary responsibility is teaching language arts methods and general education undergraduate, graduate and online courses, including summer school courses. Other duties include academic advising, curriculum and program development, and college and departmental committee work.

Qualifications:

Education: Doctorate required.

Experience: Middle level and/or high school experience is required and college teaching experience is preferred. Candidate will have strong leadership skills and have a demonstrated record of active participation in professional educational organizations.

Character: Faculty candidates must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and evidence a mature Christian faith, be in agreement with the College’s statement of faith, be committed to the integration of biblical principles within education courses and be willing to invest themselves in the development of their students.

Application: Application should include a letter of application, current curriculum vitae, transcripts, a brief testimony and statement of current ministry involvement and three letters of recommendation.
