Position Summary:
Develop and direct a comprehensive Annual Fund program and actively serve in other fund-raising efforts to ensure significant growth in contributions and number of donor participants. Cultivate giving to maximize results consistent with the college mission.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage and coordinate a comprehensive Annual Fund program.

Create and implement strategic plan to acquire annual donors and to maintain and upgrade donors.

Develop a comprehensive plan to reach new constituents and broaden the college’s donor base and overall participation rates.

Effectively communicate Annual Fund status developing schedules, budgets, goals, analysis of prior results and reporting mechanisms.

Work collaboratively with other Advancement staff members; manage students, volunteers and computer resources as needed to reach Annual Fund goals.

Implement all programs and campaigns and ensure they are completed in a timely manner, including:

Annual Fund appeal letters, including a variety of segmentations and versioning consistent with target audience.

Welcome letters for new donors.
-
Systematic phone contact with donors/constituents.
-
Other events, campaigns and programs as needed.

Develop and maintain relationships with current donors and prospects.

Develop advertising, brochures and special events related to the Annual Fund.

Collaborate with other Advancement staff on a recognition program for all annual donors.

Serve as contact person for other College solicitation programs such as mission trips, Corban athletics, corporate matching gifts.

Work with VP for Advancement on developing the overall College fund-raising plans; participate and assist other College fund-raising efforts; cultivate and solicit donors/prospects as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:

An enthusiastic commitment to, a clear understanding of and the ability to articulate the essential of a Christian college education.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
-
Three to four years of successful fundraising experience. Experience in higher education or non-profit organization is preferred. Also, experience with annual giving programs is preferred.

Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Excellent organizational and planning skills, including attention to details.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; complex reporting capabilities; experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred.

An ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
-
An ability to provide leadership and direction.

A commitment to Corban’s mission, adhere to Corban’s Statement of Faith and have a reputation for demonstrating a Christian lifestyle and character.
Work Schedule:
Office hours are Monday through Friday with occasional weekend responsibilities and some overnight travel required.
