LA GRANDE, Ore. – Senior forward/defender Lyndsey Hawk (Medford, Ore.) was the lone member of Corban's women's soccer team to be named to the 1st team, as she led a trio of Warriors that were named to the All-Cascade Collegiate Conference teams on Thursday.

Hawk ended her final season in a Corban uniform with five goals, while handing out a team-high five assists. The 5-foot-2 combo player began the season by scoring a pair of goals and handing out a pair of assists in the Warriors' season opening victory over the University of Great Falls.

Later in the season against Western Oregon, Hawk notched her third assist of the season when she teamed with freshman forward Marissa Walters (Elk Grove, Calif.) for the Warriors' lone goal of the contest. Ten days later, the senior co-captain teamed with junior midfielder Sarah Whaley (Gresham, Ore.) for Corban's game-winning goal in double overtime over Evergreen. The next night, Hawk scored her third goal of the season in the Warriors' 3-1 victory over first-year program Northwest before concluding the regular season eleven days later with a pair of goals against Warner Pacific.

This is the second year in a row that Hawk has been a member of the all-conference team, following last season's 2nd team honor.

Along with Hawk, senior goalkeeper Kim Mendenhall (Windsor, Calif.) and junior forward Megan Waunch (Tumwater, Wash.) were placed on the 2nd team all-conference. Mendenhall ended her career with 354 saves, while allowing 100 goals in 6,075 minutes for a Goals Against Average of 1.48. The 5-foot-7 net-minder's GAA ranks 2nd all-time behind former Warrior Karyn Allen.

Waunch ended her third season as a Warrior scoring a team-best 7 goals, while handing out a team-high 5 assists and recording a team-best 19 points. In her career, Waunch has scored 25 goals, handed out 16 assists, and accumulated 66 points. The 5-foot-4 junior ranks 5th all-time in goals, tied for 10th all-time in assists, and 6th all-time in points on the career charts.

Corban had its season cut short due to a shoot-out loss to Oregon Tech, but ended with an overall record of 7-11-1, 5-4-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play. The Warriors won 4 of its final 5 games to secure the No. 3-seed in the conference tournament, while outscoring its opponents 11-5 during that stretch.
