KIRKLAND, Wash. – Senior Lyndsey Hawk (Medford, Ore.) scored a goal and handed out an assist, as Corban's women's soccer team pushed its winning streak to two games thanks to a 3-1 victory over first-year program Northwest on Saturday.

Northwest's Brittney Marshall's began the scoring with an early goal, but it wasn't good enough to get the victory for the Eagle women as Corban scored three second half goals.

Corban got their first goal from Hawk seven minutes after Marshall's goal put Northwest in the lead at 49:25 of the second half. Freshman Kacie Emerick (Bellingham, Wash.) scored 17 minutes later to put the Warriors ahead for good and junior Megan Waunch (Tumwater, Wash.) sealed the game with with her team-leading 4th goal of the season with eight minutes to go.

Freshman Jessica Matthews (Yelm, Wash.) assisted on Hawk's goal, while senior Charissa Bernard (Salem, Ore.) teamed with Waunch on her goal.  Emerick was the recipient of a pass from Hawk on her goal, as the Warriors thrust themselves back into the Cascade Collegiate Conference playoff picture with a weekend sweep of their opponents from the state of Washington.

Corban is now 5-10-0 overall, 3-3-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play.  Meanwhile, Northwest falls to 4-7-2 overall, 2-5-1 in CCC action.
