Matt Larson returns to Corban to begin his first season as an assistant coach following two seasons away from the hardwood.

Matt played at Corban under head coach Justin Sherwood during the 2004-05 season when he helped lead the Warriors to a season-opening and school-record 18-game winning streak and No. 1-ranking in the NAIA Division II coaches' poll.

As a Warrior, Matt appeared in and started all 35 games during then-Western Baptist’s magical season. Matt finished third on the team in scoring with an average of 11.5 points per game, while leading the Warriors in assists with 157 and steals with 64. Matt scored a season-high 24 points against The Evergreen State College on January 5th, while handing out a season-high 8 assists versus Albertson on February 19th.
