FACILITIES LOCATION
The Athletic Training room is located inside the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center across from the men's locker room. Corban's Athletic Training room offers student-athletes quality medical care, which includes therapeutic modalities, exercise equipment, whirl pool treatment, ice and heat. The Athletic Training room has five treatment tables, an elliptical Pre-Cor and stationary bike, along with taping stations with rehabilitation areas. The weight room and fitness center are in close proximity for further rehabilitation needs. Any other questions, please contact the Athletic Training room at (503) 589-8193.

Jennifer Krug begins her eleventh year as the Head Athletic Trainer at Corban College.
A graduate of Corban College, Krug returned to the Salem-based campus in 1997 as the Head Athletic Trainer and has seen the college's athletic department grow from six to thirteen sports. During her nine years with the Warriors' athletic department, Krug has seen the expansion of the SportsPlex, which included the addition of the baseball and softball fields and re-positioning of the soccer field. Besides her duties as Head Athletic Trainer, Krug helps to oversee the student workers that work at the games and run the open gym time inside the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center.
Prior to returning to Corban, Krug spent four years at Portland State University, while working on her master's degree. Krug began with the Vikings as a Student Trainer from 1993-95 before moving up to a Graduate Assistant in 1995-97. Krug worked with the football, wrestling, women's basketball, and tennis teams and supervised Student Athletic Trainers. Krug served with the soccer, volleyball, softball, men's & women's track & field, men's & women's cross country, baseball, men's & women's soccer, wrestling, and golf teams during her time at PSU.
Prior to her time at Portland State, Krug was a member of the women's volleyball team at Corban College (formerly Western Baptist). Krug played two seasons of women's volleyball for head coach Tracy Smith, appearing in 195 games. The two-year starter recorded 488 kills, 21 assists, 33 service aces, and 78 blocks (17 solo, 61 assist). Krug was named team Most Valuable Player and NAIA District II Player of the Year following her 1990 junior season.
Krug worked at the Portland Ale-Lacrosse World Invitational from 1995-2001, as well as serving as an Athletic Trainer at the Portland State University basketball and volleyball camps during the summer of 1995-96.
Krug graduated from Corban College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education and earned her Master's degree in Health Education in December of 2000 from Portland State University. Krug holds professional memberships with the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Northwest Athletic Trainers Association, as well as being certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification in February of 1997. Krug has been a member of the Oregon Athletic Trainers Society for the past twelve years, as well as serving as the Elections Committee chair for the past six years.
Krug, who is single, currently resides in Salem with her German Shepherd, Glennie.

Tony Walther begins his third year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Corban College.
Prior to Corban College, Walther served as a Student Athletic Trainer for the baseball and men’s soccer teams while also helping with other sports at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. While a student at George Fox, Walther was named the Health & Human Performance Student of the Year at George Fox and also played varsity basketball for the college.
Walther passed the National Athletic Trainers Association Certification exam on his first attempt which is quite an accomplishment.
Walther earned his Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and pre-health teaching from George Fox University in 2005.
Walther, who is single, currently resides in Salem, Oregon. He is also an avid golfer, and a huge University of North Carolina fan.
