SALEM, Ore.– Corban College's Sports Information office, in conjunction with the Information Systems department, is offering all Warrior "FAN"-atics a chance to receive updates via the brand new eNews Service.
"This feature is only going to enhance the service that Warrior fans are receiving," said Mark Colachico, Corban College's Sports Information Director. "In the past, distribution lists were created in order to keep track of people that wanted to be kept up-to-date with Warrior athletics. This feature gives fans the ability to subscribe and unsubscribe as they please."
Beginning with Corban's men's soccer game against cross-town rival Willamette on Tuesday, October 2nd, all athletic-based updates will be sent out using the new service that has been provided by Brian Schmidt, Director of Information Systems, and his staff.
Anyone that would like to continue receiving athletic-based updates must sign up. Fans can do so by visiting www.gowarriorsgo.com and putting a valid e-mail address into the box below the eNews Service icon on the left hand side of Warrior athletic home page. After entering a valid e-mail address, eNews Services will send an e-mail to the recipient in order to verify that the address is correct. The recipient then needs to click on the web site address that is embedded in the e-mail to begin receiving eNews updates regarding Warrior athletics.
Along with eNews Services, fans can also receiving Warrior scores via e-mail or text messaging through eScores. eScores is a free service provided by Corban College's Department of Athletics thanks to its partnership with Stretch Internet. Fans can visit www.gowarriorsgo.com and click on the eScores icon on the right side of the Warrior athletic home page to begin filling out the necessary information. Upon completion, fans will begin receiving Warrior scores via e-mail, text messaging, or both.
"Corban College athletics has partnered with Ryan Ermeling and Stretch Internet for the past three years in one facet or another," commented Colachico. "Ryan and his staff at Stretch Internet have been amazing to work with in regards to either eScores or Internet-based broadcasting of select basketball games over the past two seasons. I hope that our partnership will continue growing as it has over the past few years."
