Ryan Dempster ‘99Distinguished Young Alumni of the Year |
Ryan is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Willamette Valley Bank in Salem, where his responsibilities include accounting, finance and information technology. Prior to joining Willamette Valley Bank in 2007, Ryan worked as an audit manager for the Oregon Secretary of State.
After graduating from Corban with a Bachelor of Science in Business, Ryan became a certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner and recent graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. He also currently serves as a member of the Oregon Bankers Association Financial Officers Committee.
Ryan met his wife, Emily Cook, while attending Corban. They have two children, Brynn and Blake, who attend elementary school. Ryan spends his spare time watching his younger brother, Nolan, play soccer at Corban, playing with the kids and golfing. He and his family are active members of Salem Heights Church.
