The pattern, “Whimsical Serendipity,” was made by the Sewing Seeds of Love quilting group from Faith Baptist Church in Salem, who named the quilt “Loving Hearts.”
Dollars raised will be used to purchase risers for the Corban Music Department, install a staircase from the parking lot to the Psalm Center and fund two student scholarships.

This annual ladies event, started in 1967, was formerly known as Western Baptist Women’s Auxiliary, then Women for Western and more recently, Salem Corban Connection.
Through dedication and donations many improvements have been funded over the years—new mattresses, remodeled and redecorated residence halls, lighting around parking lots, audio/visual equipment for classrooms, outdoor bleachers, digital grand piano, scholarships, stage curtains in the Psalm Performing Arts Center, library tables, chairs and study carrels—the gifts go on and on and on. Over the past four decades, individuals have contributed over $400,000.
2005/06 funds raised from donations and the event, were used to purchase new carpet in men’s dorm, Farrar Hall, and provided two student scholarships.
2006/2007 projects are new pianos for two practice rooms at the cost of $8,000 and new carpeting for Aagard Hall. Two one thousand dollar Scholarships were also awarded.
Your gift is tax deductible.
