BOL Online: FAQ
-
Q: Are there prerequisites to enter BOL Online?
A: Yes. To enter the program students need to complete at least 62 semester credit hours of previous college credit. -
Q: What is the difference between semester credits and quarter credits?
A: Corban College is on the semester system. Some colleges which students have attended are on the quarter system. Usually, students can look on their transcripts to determine the system. To convert quarter credits to semester credits use this formula:
Quarter Credits x .67 = Semester Credits. -
Q: Does Corban grant credit for prior learning?
A: Yes, however, students cannot utilize prior learning credit until enrolled in BOL Online. The maximum amount of "portfolio" credit Corban will transfer is 30 semester credits. For an explanation of what qualifies as prior or experiential learning, contact an Admissions Counselor.
