Business & Organizational Leadership (BOL)
Another Year is Gone...
Remember when you thought you'd take a year off and work before
you finished you education? But one year turned into
five, then 10, and you still didn't have your degree. Where
did the time go? Now with a family and a full time
job, a degree seems out of reach.
But then you saw the ad. A degree completion program involving one night a week for a year. That's something you could live with!
If this story describes the way you feel, take a moment to read the information in the links on the left. It could change your whole life.
About the Program
Corban's BOL program develops leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a Christian perspective while allowing you to focus on your own individual education and professional goals. This 63 week one-night-per-week program is styled for Christian adults with work experience and 60 semester hours of college credit.
The course work provides knowledge and expertise in critical areas such as human resources, marketing, budgeting, communication and organizational development -- all of which are needed by leaders in either nonprofit or for-profit organizations.
In many corporations and government agencies today, this educational background is often the basis for promotion to middle and senior level management positions. It is also excellent preparation in becoming a catalyst for change and making a positive difference.
In addition to the 41 credit hours required in the major, you may also earn up to 30 credits through your personal portfolio. You will be encouraged to relate classroom principles directly to your unique experience and job situations. BOL will give you "hands on" insight into how theory is applied in actual management situations.
Upon completion of the program you'll earn a bachelor of science degree. If you would like assistance in planning for degree completion, please contact us. We will be glad to help you.
You can reach the Adult Degree Program office by calling 503-375-7590 or 1-800-764-1383 or email adp@corban.edu.
