The Corban Distinctive

Corban University prepares graduates to succeed academically and make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ. At Corban you will experience biblically based programs that provide a uniquely Christian view on your profession or field of study. You will learn from faculty members who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Most importantly your coursework integrates a biblical perspective with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

Formerly Western Baptist College, Corban University chose its current name because of its Hebrew meaning, “a gift dedicated to God.” This change was made in order to enhance the university’s motto, “dedicating heart and mind to God.” Corban University seeks to uphold our name and motto through our mission: “To educate Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.” This is what distinguishes Corban University.
