Social Science: History

This major helps students gain a basic understanding of the world in the context of its historical development, political systems, and socio-cultural environment. It also equips students with the essential prerequisites for responsible participation in society. Along with acquainting students with the methods and applications of social science research, this major also exposes students to a variety of career opportunities in society and prepares them for graduate work, especially in history.
