Israel Study Tour
March 20-30, 2008

Want to go to Israel on Spring Break in 2008? It’s easier than you think!

A study trip to the land of Israel is the ideal supplement to your classroom education and to strengthen your knowledge of biblical text. Such a trip enables you to visualize the places where the key events in the Old Testament, the Gospels, & the Book of Acts actually took place. But before you dismiss the trip as being too dangerous, too difficult, or too expensive. . . READ ON.

Enhance Your Knowledge of the Bible
Imagine visiting and studying in the land where the events of the Bible actually occurred—an unforgettable journey of breathless views and spiritually uplifting experiences. This trip is not just a guided bus tour of church sites and souvenir shops. It is an in depth exposure to the country of Israel.

Picture yourself reading about David slaying Goliath while standing at the spot where the event took place... gazing out over the Judean Wilderness where “the voice of one crying in the wilderness” announced the coming of Christ... looking over the Sea of Galilee from atop a cliff and reviewing the ministry of Christ along its shores. The study tour combines historical, geographical and spiritual aspects, in hopes of providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the land of Israel.

Earn Undergraduate Credit
Corban students may sign up for the Israel Study Tour course for Spring 2008. Drs. Anderson and Trull will provide an emphasis that will enhance your time of study. Every facet of the trip is designed to enrich you spiritually and intellectually.

Enjoy an Affordable Adventure
The total cost for the trip from Portland is $2,995 per person. The cost includes airfare, hotel accommodations (2 per room), all entrance fees, and two meals per day (lunch is not included).

Experience a Safe Environment
Everything on the trip will be done to ensure the safety of the group. We will not visit areas where there have been recent attacks or clashes between Israelis and Palestinians. We will not use public transportation. We will use a land operator with extensive experience who carefully monitors the political situation on a daily basis.
