HIERATIC OSTRACON
A stone fragment with traces
of two texts, one with red ink and one with black. These
are as yet un-translated.

 Ostraca are fragments of stone or pottery that have
been written on. "A kind of hieratic writing existed
already in the period of the
first dynasty... and was employed up till the third century A.D." (Diringer, The Alphabet, p.65)
